About us

According to the Worldbank, education and health are critical areas for sustainable development. Since 2009, we support two Tanzanian communities in their efforts to improve in these areas and we achieve this with generous contributions from members, monetary, in-kind, and in time for which we are very grateful. Our local valuable supporters identify community needs and together we design and deliver a project.

Education and Health

We commenced supporting disadvantaged students with their school needs. When education policy changed to increase schooling until the age of 16, and adolescent mothers allowed to continue their education, we changed our focus to the teachers. We currently work with two secondary schools, one in Isange and one in Mwakaleli, supporting them with teacher and student resources.

The Isange community commenced building their clinic in 2009. This is a community development project and is taking a long time to complete. Once resources are in place the government will provide the staff. We were there when the boulders were brought in from the river to lay the foundation, and over the years we have donated many resources ranging from scrubs to birthing beds.
